Fear Of Halmark Poem by Oliver Coleman

Fear Of Halmark

A work of art
In a shopping cart
That makes you smile or cry
Though every word of happiness
Is mostly dry-bone lie
Happy birthday
Merry Christmas
Words of comfort?
They seem vicious
Memories hidden
Emotion concealed
A lock on the past
My lips are sealed
Stuck behind bars
Keeping contained
Feelings for something cannot be explained
Dare not to feel
Dare not to see
Someone with heart must find me my key
