Fear - Poem by Jennipher Maliya

Fear is when you are frightened
You cuddle up close until you are tightened
You can’t sleep and you have a nightmare
So in the dark you look and stare
It is horrible, scary and a terrible thought
This is the bad things you’ve been brought

No one likes it there
But it brings you to its lair
Fear is when you are frightened
You cuddle up close until you are tightened

Fear of this or that is often a problem wit most individuals. If one analyzes deep enough in to it, one would realize tat it is all withing oneself; in other words the inner-self. Excellent portrayal of a real life matter within a poetic framework. (Report) Reply

Fear, a bunch of sinister shadows. A shadow has no substance, it's usually a magnified reflection of something small. That why it behoves us to look at fear as something that's inconsequential. I like the articulation of the poem, the insight and the rhyme scheme. It's a beautiful train of thoughts well encapsulated into a lovely poem. Thanks for sharing.
