Father's Day,2018 Poem by Dr John Celes

A father is the family's head -
The leader who both loves and cares;
He toils to see children well fed;
His experience, with all, he shares.

He is the strong man of the home;
Discipline is his duty prime;
Providing all the family's needs,
He spends his life and precious time.

He hugs and kisses you when young;
He warns of dangers that could sneak;
Sometimes, he strains his voice and lung;
He wants his children reach their peak.

He is the daughter's first hero;
He is the son's playmate and friend;
He is a gem and star unseen;
He slogs and works that will not end.

He holds a special place in life;
His love for all, he will not show;
His worries, he may not reveal;
He guides all through life's storms and strife.
