Fates Don't Just Change Poem by Nick Kler

Fates Don't Just Change

Ever since I was a child
you often implied
"Sobbing is so disgraceful
fates don't just change"

With those words
embedded deep within
refrained me from crying
for the better part of my life

Yes, I do keep a million sores
I just don't parade them
or wear them upon my sleeve
I'm quiet "graceful" that way
