Fate Was Sealed Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Fate Was Sealed

Forty words:

Spending hours apart

Each with sadness of heart.

Love was ignored

Like the lost chord

And oh how they cried

Hurt deep inside

Coping with jealousy

Coping with pride

Paradise was lost.

'Goodbye' was the cost...

Every second,

Divorce threatened.
