Wishes made
Flung to the sky
An offering of dreams
Hoping one will come true
You can't say you've never
Wished upon a star
You've never wanted so badly
It hurts inside
Pennies tossed into that old wishing well
Like messages in bottles
Thrown into the sea
Who are you that will read these thoughts?
Girls grown from flowers
Faeries to douse you in magic
Will wishes made in doubt,
Still come true?
