Farewell Dear. Poem by Tonia Nkeangnyi

Farewell Dear.

I can't believe it's all the past,
Were you not the one who spoke to me yesterday,
Please do that again today.

I hope they're wrong,
I'm sure this is a dream,
You can't be gone, I'm really sleeping I'm sure.

Death is so heartless, so wicked,
Why did you go, without saying farewell?
Why depart so, leaving me empty?

Your holiday's taking so long,
You just went away
Well, farewell my dear friend.
