Dark is the night without you
Feeling so empty without you
How long would it take my sweet
Before I touch your sweet embrace

Ocean apart, that is where we are
Miles away and I miss you bad
So far to reach and so far to hold
You know I’m lonely without you here

But to all the odds we are in right now
My love will shine everyday for you
I will wait for you to return home
I know how far we are, but our love is near

Tears will fall every night at sleep
But in my dreams it’s you I see
No matter how long this would take
I promise you I’ll be the one for you

God is there for us and our love
Together we know we belong
Let’s hold each other hand my sweet
