Far and farthest I am, ...

...as near as shadow is to the sunlight;
If light goes, there is no shadow,
For shadow is the offspring of light;
The vanished shadow again appears,
When the sun in the clear sky reappears;
See me as the essence of every shadow,
You reckon ill if you count me more than one;
It is me who walks, crawls, or flies about,
It is me who stands still and motionless;
I am the being, ...
...seen in the mirrors of my attributes,
And I am the word that connects the hearer to me.
Is not the time yet come for those who...
...profess to love,
That God is one in All, and All in one?
