Family Movie Poem by Holly Gardner

Just watched a movie called
When people were sane here.
Not much of a plot.
Just nice music, pretty dresses.

I don't know! My fever comes and goes.
But I feel quite lucid most days.
I was released from treatment -
Some years ago. But some aching in my head.

When people were sane here,
We didn't pick a fight, I guess.
Even the most beautiful girl knew
Not to start those wars.

The playground is so small for that.
No it isn't a good movie.
Although I do love a good family film.
But no, it's just not possible really.
