Falling From Heaven Poem by Jorge Arturo Valles Anguiano

Falling From Heaven

I found myself looking into the sky,
without knowing anything about my past,
but having the feeling that I forgot something important,
probably I fell from heaven without me knowing,
who knows?

I've met nice people that have took care of me,
that had made me laugh,
making me remember by only one pace,
my past,
my way to be.

Making me know that I fell from heavens,
not as their savior,
not as their protector,
I fell from heavens,
as a lost sheep.

Time passes...,
transforming me from a lost sheep
to a nice person,
but I think that is too late,
time has passed real quick,
but in reality time has passed by years...,
I'm just a simple old person that should already die.

As the night comes,
my mouth feels like steel,
I don't feel my body,
I fall in the floor,
and all becoming dark.

This dark reminds me to all my past,
something that was unkown,
but as soon I met nice people,
all becomes whiter.

Then I find myself once more looking at the sky,
but this time,
I've my memories,
and this time,
I decided to fall from heaven.
