Falling Apart
I tried hard, you tried harder,
We gave it our all, now there's nothing left,
You tried biting into my heart,
Since, you stole it with your planned theft.
But, I'm falling apart now,
Don't know what to do,
Did nothing but thought of you,
This morning, did this lyrical hoodoo.
Confused by your words,
Divided by our decisions,
Tempted by desire,
Raged by the indecision.
Drowned in doubt,
I sensed you struggling to be free,
You parted yesterday,
Like a leaf from falling tree.
Mind is living in the present,
Heart will always be in the past,
I know what I'll lose,
But, don't know what'll last.
Vibrantly intense feelings throughout this poem, they grip the heart with every word written. Sometimes nothing we do will be enough for another, so we must give and take temporarily in hopes that in our future will be someone who will love us no matter what. Excellent poem! Some people are meant to come in our life to give some memories and love and to take some memories and love...and same some are meant to go from our life...leaving something and taking something.....lovely poem...liked it...thank u for sharing :)
