Falling Poem by Danny The Dreamer Boyd

Falling

Oh, I remember how it was so hard
For me to fall, how problematical!
"One-sided won't yet help the voices lull!
Do trust in me and try to drop your guard…"
I trusted you and built our house of cards,
Then clouds rushed in and dimmed what was but dull;
I should have read the writing on the wall!
I could have kept intact my little shards!
I'm not sure what I did but blindly see,
I'm tired of all what's fake and what's in vain:
I think I sang my common sense to sleep;
I woke it ere it was immersed in pain…
My love has fallen out of love with me,
Right when I started falling way too deep!
