Falling Poem by Shanna Stewart

Falling

As her heart rate continued falling, falling, falling
She heard an angel calling, calling, calling
Life was slipping,
She was tripping,
Was Gabriel inviting her name?
If not, oh the eternity she would feel of pain.
Falling, falling, falling,
No longer did she hear the calling, calling, calling
Another suicide attempt in vain
With a steady increase the heart monitor brought realization of pain
Down the stairs she remembered falling, falling, falling
For her mother she was calling, calling, calling
Abandoned home alone
All alone no one heard the agonizing moan
Drugs took full affect
On her life she did reflect
Till her consciousness was gone
Upon awakening she rememberd the calling, calling, calling
NO longer would she be falling, falling, falling.
