Fallen Angel Poem by Brian Goddard

Fallen Angel

It was a dark night,
I was up above,
Looking about left and right,
Flying swiftly like a dove.

I heard a massive scream,
I flew down to Earth,
The good I was made to redeem,
A woman giving birth!

Along flew a huge jet,
Speeding along the sky,
Was I scared, you could bet,
I thought I was going to die.

The plane hit me with impact,
I fell from the clouds,
My skull was cracked,
I landed on the ground.

It was a dark night,
Now I'm down below,
Landing in the middle of a town so bright,
I am the fallen angel, that you should know.
