Faithful Gown Poem by William Miftah

Faithful Gown

I have a gentle hair as black as night
But my gentle cloth of veil covers her
I have a smooth skin as white as clouds
But my smooth cloth of dress cover her

So if you stare at my nurtured eyes
down to the peace arch of my lips
and when they show my stranded pearls
then backward to my bright faces
They are my luxury
for thee
