Faith Poem by Lydia Thacker

Faith

Rating: 5.0

The crowded room goes empty
and my world, it fades to grey.
My love has found another love
and I must go away.

Hope has gone and I am lost
in a world without a tune.
The dreams we had, he and I,
they ended all too soon.

Thoughts linger on things that were,
but soon turn to what will be.
Color comes back to my world,
for I have faith in me.

Strong I stand; my broken heart,
all duct taped and askew,
lives to beat another day.
Life goes on without you.
