Fairytale Gone Bad Poem by Elizabeth Dawn

Fairytale Gone Bad

In a world full of people who lie and cheat,
Who kill,
and those who hurt the hearts that have not yet felt.
What was once a fairytale story,
with a prince, a princess,
and a land no one could touch.
Is distroyed in the blink of an eye, such fragile things are in our world,
the things we don't see to well are the ones that get hurt the most.
The people of this world say,
to love and care for each other, but in this world,
We only know how to hurt and kill the people who are closest to us
even if we don't mean to.
Their are the few who hurt others for their own plesure,
but
to the many who do not want to hurt others,
We might be able to make a whole new fairytale and maybe just
maybe this time it won't go bad.
