? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Poem by Elizabeth Dawn

? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

What's the difference between pain and love,
you end up hurt either way.
Tears still fall, You still bleed, You still feel.
Can two people truly love one another, can it still be called love,
even after its been torn and left to bleed.
Is there still light in a dark room full to the brim with lies.
Is there still dark in a room so bright with light it can't be seen,
at all.
Why as humans do we crave trouble, pain and darkness,
are we that disgusting of a creature.
I guess we just may be,
but...
We still have the thought that its right for us to feel,
the flames of hatred licking our skin.
The sweet bitterness,
of pain and lust...
Love must be a fragment of our imaginations,
so sweet and innocent.
So pure and yet so toxic.
There is no end to what I say,
there is really not even a beginning,
yet I'm still writing things that make no sense,
but also make all the sense in the world.
