Failure Poem by Katie Anon

Failure

I am a disappointment
A failure in your eyes
I know we have a problem
In that there can be no disguise

All the errors I have made
The struggles we have had
Does the blame fall on me
Is it all my bad?

Or did I have potential
Like the smallest sapling
With care I could have grown
Perhaps become a great thing

My mistakes still haunt
But I know you can't blame onside
Too late now for what ifs
We are all to blame for my demise

But if the environment is right
Perhaps once again I can thrive
Become something to be proud
And do more than just survive
