Fading Away Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Fading Away

Will fade away
By the end of the day
With the falling dusk
In me you can trust

Like the dew drops
That walk away
Riding sun rays
Out of your way

Sometimes skin tone
Or what I have worn
Have been judged
For where I was born

Time and again
I have borne
all the pains
But my smile
Is still well retained

No more words
Would be heard
No more laughter
No more verse

I was meant
To live alone
All by myself
Then be gone
