Face The Fear Poem by Michael Poston

Face The Fear

You always talk about the future
but the future is never here
because its always the present
and the present is full of fear.

I ask whats wrong?
You don't want to tell me
because its something personal
say it and you'll be free.

It seems like everything i do
coincides with you.
But you go diving on the floor
reaching for another

What should i feel
my life's a total blunder.
I shouldn't even be here
but I was too afraid to face the fear.

Now I'm too afraid to face you
that is my fullest regret
I am too young for such things
but i know what love is, on that you can bet.
