Expect Unexpected While Driving. Poem by Sam Varghis

Expect Unexpected While Driving.

Expect unexpected while driving on your way,
A highway or it may be a way narrow

A pleasant surprise out of blue or a sudden wreck
May hit you while you are on your way

A way beyond your map may appear at a cross road
Or in a turning may lead you towards an unknown land

Or it will take you to a green pasture or to a creek
At times to a jungle or to a valley dark

Who is in your way begging a lift or who is she
Whom you are pleasing to offer a ride

Which symphony your stereo plays Seventh, Fifth
Or three whichever be you cannot turn it off

What a goal or a dream carrys off you on your way
And who knows you will carry out it or not

And read a moral from a sign board on the wayside
"Careless drivers meet their death on the road".

It holds good so even in life; on the cross roads sudden incoming vehicles cause accidents even on the recent National Highways! Last line about the warning on the roadside board is a must for all see and one has to be cautious while driving fast on Highways! Best wishes!
