Exercise 2

Weights

A poem that allows
NO words to rhyme,
not just those ending lines,
gets harder the more one writes.

Swords can be said,
zone's fine;
here, where;
rough;
plough
(but I can't put down its plural) .

Forbidden as well: singular
of clowns, bright orange roses,
mysterious foreign shores,
bakers' buns, bears, bands,
ears, cots, aunts -
and feet.
