Everything Will Be Okay! Poem by Asma Khan

Everything Will Be Okay!

Rating: 5.0

Don't run behind the shadow
the root may stay, but the borough
passing life's golden era alone
may help ease all sorrows grow

You obey rising sun of time
my love is nothing but a crime
gather the pain, gather the grieves
I exchanged all this in a dime

Better be far you and forget with a smile
than that of you should come this mile
I may not serve your purpose anywhere
but my loyalty is forever for you at all while

Risk nothing but a giving heart
for this my tenor from the start
you hold my possessions of the world
but to me this is my only art

I fought for my existence every time
This is something can't be bought with a dime
you can wake up many hopes in a heart
with a tap of a single chime

This appears to be a nerve shattering experience you have gone through. The poem leaves a deep impact on the mind. I shall quote a few lines: my love is nothing but a crime / gather the pain, gather the grieves / I exchanged all this in a dime.
