Everyone Is Someone's' Child Poem by Alice E. Conley

Everyone Is Someone's' Child

Rating: 4.5

A child cries in the distance,
For n one's to hear... The pain of a child,
Is so very sad to hear... Governments fight over land, boundaries,
Gold, oil, timber and such... The children are the greatest
Commodity that is on this earth... But the little children are
Starved, beaten, and abused... No praise, joy or laughter can
Be heard within their tears... They live in the sewers, and in the
Streets; ignored and pushed aside... The boundaries must be broken;
If a child is to survive... Or soon there shall not be heard...
The cry of a child.
