Everyday

Rating: 4.3

everyday it happens
everyday it hurts
people tell me its not good
and it keeps getting worse
everyday it kills me
everyday faster and faster
but then not everyday comes
any more
once my life ends

Hi Angel - why all this Angst? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Each Day we live is a challenge. I have lived over 28 thousand days some good - some bad - most indifferent. I've often been to the edge - looked over - but things have never been so bad that I have jumped off. The last line - 'Once my life ends' - all our lives will end someday - but it seems very very premature - in your case - to even contemplate it. I expect to go on (God willing) for at least another 7,300 days (20 years) and I look forward with JOY to every single new day. But then I was born in Liverpool (UK) and we are all supreme optimists. My advice would be LOOK UP - TOUCH GOD - HAVE FAITH that all your tomorrows will be wonderful! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! . Love in Poetry - JOHN.
