Every Day Be Gained Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Every Day Be Gained

Every day be gained - mark me!
You, Monsignor are wise.
So you say that every day be gained.
Yet in this way only:
Every day be gained in non-changing relative.
In ever-changing what be lost?
What gained?
In change continual history be indifferent.
You heard, my Monsignor?
You smile.
For mark me -
In change continual history be indifferent.
