Eve Poem by Sam Smith

Eve

You watched my just Eve,
As her last breath screamed at me.
I lived by your Cree,
Yet you've still forsaken me.

So hopeless I stand
And no, I do not misunderstand
For with every demand
More blood had splatered my hand

Now naked and bear,
Left with no love to ensnare,
I asked and you dared
So I did, and you forsed me to stare.

Now as love turns to hate,
Hopelessness replaces fate.
And, with malevolence I state,
you will learn my soul's weight.
