Mother of all living
Caught by God sinning
Childbirth pains ensuing
Cain and Abel soon fighting

Eve, Old Testament guilty
Mary, New Testament justly
Eve coped quite badly
Mary did God's will happily

Most Churches called St. Mary
Name St. Eve quite contrary
Save in retro jewellery
Where name devoid of theology
