Eurasian Blind Poem by Mason Maestro

Eurasian Blind

They lied about the function of the eyes
About the weakness and the horses and the miles behind
I saw a darkening cloud, I locked the Jin’s outside
And the unifying really opened my eyes
Expand East East
It’s like living in a dream
After washing the hands will they ever come clean?
Expand North North
It’s not a fee that’s free
While the eyes of the blind are staring at me

My tribe is the indifferent kind
Conquering down beyond the valley of the blind
What are you afraid you'll see
If you open your eyes and take a look at me

I’ll say it once, they call me Khan
It’s Genghis Khan, and I just took Siam
Cause i'm quick, driving nations to their knees
No matter who you are I’ll be your next king
Expand South South
And I heard China’s call
‘Chang’an demands, how’d cross the wall? ’
Expand West West
Persia’s men just dropped like flies
Again hypnotized by the look in our eyes

My tribe is the indifferent kind
Conquering down beyond the valley of the blind
What, Islam, are you afraid you'll see
If you open your eyes and take a look at me?

Won't you look at me
Don't you want to see
What you may just be
Open your eyes and take a look at me!

My assault’s coming down to a grind
Internal strife crowned the great Kublai
Clashes ensue by 1263
A slow, crippling demise became my destiny
