Eternal Love Poem by Melissa Patty

Eternal Love

Rating: 5.0

Eternal love one more to say
A candle lit for you to pray
Eternal love to follow you and find
Something is not far behind
Eternal love watching from coast to coast
I'll grab that love because it's what I need most
Eternal love when I call
No matter what it will catch me when I fall
Eternal love to flow and see
Is the love I want close to me
Eternal love is time for celebration
As you open your heart to salvation
Eternal love to close your eyes and pray
Something is changing everyday
Eternal love will never stop because this is just the start
This love is special in my heart
Eternal love takes you a long way to go
Love is water yo slide and flow
Eternal love is your guard to stand
For I take the love and hold your hand
Eternal love will keep hold of you from strength to weak
Eternal love is the thing to seek
Eternal love, open your heart to see what's inside
I want to know what to do, not hide
Eternal love means love will give you Eternal love day by day
Love gives you direction in every way
Eternal love is a lovely sensation
And I'll tell the nation
Eternal love I'll walk to that place in the high rays
And I'll jump and sing the praise
Eternal love will stay there in my heart so high
I'll keep that love in my pocket when I die

Eternally once my love at 15 what seems eternal now in modern parlance love is only external what of eternal the world drifts at wind speed come and love me now pay no heed the worlds pacing fast can't you see twas eternal maybe let past e gone eternally today love is to be merry with someone who may remember thee eternally if you give in for free yes that's modernity none listen to me when gals have kids without the bounden laws of marriage singly they live eternally that's it so let it be your poetry was eternal now all can see read me

Your voice is leaping in the direction of Joyce, have you read him? Check out PORTRAIT, especially the chapter where the boy sees the girl in the water offshore. Incredible scene.

It's interesting how poetry written our teens are free from the distractions, disappointments or disillusionments that we somehow gather as we get older...it would be nice to feel that way often, thanks for reminding us it's possible...Great stuff, keep it up, and please check out my poems too, I'd appreciate it...
