Etc 18 Poem by shuvo chakraborty

Etc 18

I followed the full moon to grow
That hung aloft on autumn sky
Beyond the heath of fast grown weeds,
Like the pic of immortal passion
Over the broken wall of stifled mind
That had moonlit night and starry kingdom.
Although born on soft looking snow
And had playful dreams around forest dim
And gathered tender years among musing streams.
But the selfsame mind of childhood
Has it's own fashion of rising
As the nightly Queen and has silent course
Traversing the clouds to rain
Or colourless summer to azure autumn.
In such duarnal course unlike thick Moon
Grew lean and worn
With scant waters in downstream of youth,
Next has disgracing cleft flow among the squatting stones in winter afternoon
And uncertain mingle with magic sea
Made me shaken and weak as if
Next rains will not be suffice to lift my buckled spirit nor my inner tears or the friendly rivulets.
My shaken self while gazing haven with despaired droplets
Found the same Queen on immortal glory
As if assuring my quivering spirit
By firm pointing the confirm way to sea.
