Escape Artist Imagination Poem by Terence George Craddock

Escape Artist Imagination

Rating: 5.0

imagination fleeting
does not like to be tied
down to one time

place location
imagination
will not be ruled

caught sentenced imprisoned

into rigid rules
languages cultures
social norms

imagination is now always
now imagination runs sprints
splinters into dozens of places

times instantly escaping in multiseconds

pulses electrifying
millisecond dissolving
grandular forms

slitting into atomic particles
imaginative myriad thought frequencies
ascending descending into universes

of word world possibilities
imagination is fresh created instant
renewed creation colliding

into predetermined or will of the wisp
run away possibilities which refuse
to be delayed detained defined ruled

by conscious census minds
opinions ruling drab grey minefields
of sterile impassible established

dictates towering
over rational collective
schooled rationals

parroting fixed possibilities
refusing to merge into
mind meld infinite realities
