Erehwonky Poem by Stefan Splawinski

Erehwonky

what is the states purpose
if its populace are displaced
now tax gatherers in uniform
have policemen long replaced

deprived times of yesteryear
in paradise all are healthy
hospitals schools and courts
justice for poor and wealthy

now to enshrine our thought
this new jerusalem we built
our city in perfection mode
mortgaged fully to the hilt
