art to mere unit cost reduced

petrified forest of dead beliefs
withered heartland of materialism
suffocated pride in name of sense
that led us to existential schism

faith excluded by hubris of man
humanist mantras babbling forth
devils taking disguise of saints
unearned fortunes heading north

bellows stoking the fires of hell
rabid manipulators of popular woe
elephantine labouring of the poor
they decide who is friend or foe

pot purri of the worlds uprooted
saturnalia of hedonistic schemes
unfinished symphony of economics
far removed from heavenly themes

dazed practitioners of marxism
political correctness in a heap
blueprints for collective view
who sows strife shall also reap
