here lies
the body of a
covid-19 victim.
she was careful,
she was quarantined,
she volunteered
to help, and extended
her hand
to a needy person
outside her home,
one cold night
when all the doors
were shut, and
all the lights
were turned off.
she died
and she did not
regret it.
