Enigma 3 Poem by RIC BASTASA

Enigma 3

Rating: 5.0

three books lie on the headboard

the first is The Darkness After the Hour
the second is The Dreamweaver
and the last one talks about the Time of Olives

my eyes are tired, my heart is broken
my soul does not know the difference between
this brokenness and exhaustion

some things slip inside me
as i close my eyes, perhaps you know by now
what i have chosen.
