For the sake of a rhyme
would Spenser scrabble a spelling.

For a rhyme for a word ending -esh,
I reckon he got away with 'plesh',
for hoary 'plash', meaning 'puddle'.

Many more fixes than 'plesh'
did he do,
that great contribou
to English's muddle.
