Endurance Of The Palms. Poem by Soran M. H

Endurance Of The Palms.

Rating: 5.0

This grey autumn
sparrows quietly chirp in a noisy alley
I don't want to drown with you in the eternal sunset there
On your long cold evenings
a sound that only small snails hear!
Coldness on the faces of pedestrians and behind closed doors
Oh, open the poem's windows to let it in?
Soon sparrows flies to its nest, frightened and bewildered:
Do you remember the dark city tunnels
covered with algae of ages
Bats fly over the habitants' heads at night
While birds of wishes flutter over the courtyards of palaces
Relentlessly-
protected by cardboard heroes!
.
the boat of time has landed on empty island
The calendar of the year is a month, and everywhere is a battle field
nothing there resembles images of memory
All roads lead to zero forever
Neither the features nor the characters are the same as their origins
Do you recognize yourself among those crowds?
there are without heads flirting with the sun for its absence
and there are without hearts would like to go back to the old days
may regain the rhythm of their calm breathes
but the past is erased from existence
these are part of the drama of Alienation
Modifications, fluctuations, and certificates without a signature
A hesitant travel and a journey without preparation
the Tide of conflicts may occur once in a lifetime
and a detour without rewind
will you hear the chirping of the free sparrows
Or still certainty
A day dream and monologue of a tired soul
insulted and humiliated?

A deeply touching poem--the boat of time has landed on empty island The calendar of the year is a month, and everywhere is a battle field nothing there resembles images of memory All roads lead to zero forever

The camping store manage just said to me 'get a trolley' and he filled it with gas canisters as well as a black bin liner as I said I'll put his generosity in the local papers, which I did. Then I got a local church to feed them. Probably one of the best thing I have ever done.

I found a homeless couple camping one Christmas who had one gas canister left. I got a camping store to donate over half their stock! ! Homelessness should never happen in the 22st century.

We have dark city tunnels here where bats fly over inhabitants heads. They let me take b&w photos of them to show local churches who only said ‘ah, there there, we'll pray for them.' Contd…
