End Of Summer Poem by Marilyn Lott

End Of Summer

Rating: 2.8

It’s toward the end of summer
There’s a change now in the air
It’s really quite subtle, however
The weather is still rather fair

But everything is at its peak
And starting to change a bit
It was a perfect summer though
To me it was quite a hit

Flower blooms are getting less and less
The vegetable garden is spent
My herb garden is overflowing
The basil, thyme and the mint

I’m ready now for the next season
For the fall with all its changes
A pallet of reds, yellows and browns
As Mother Nature rearranges!
