Empowered And Emboldened Poem by Aine Carroll

Empowered And Emboldened

Rating: 5.0

Empowered and emboldened
oh how you have me unfolded
like a petal on the skin
oh how I let you in.

Unbound and unwound
you have torn me asunder
and all because I gazed
on the face that was your wonder.

At your behest I beseech thee
allow me to unseat thee
to unbalance and to challenge you
to all that you entrust me.

The toll that you are taking
that has me so awakened
Its a high price we are paying
for it involves our souls.
