Emotions Poem by Bamas Sinach Victoria

Emotions

When the lead lion
roars at his lioness
for the futility of the barren womb
its emotions taking us away

When the young falconet
rejects the young eaglet
for the strength nature did not bestow
its emotions taking us away

When the giant hipopo
tramples the fires of the fireflies
for the sheer pleasure of the doing
its emotions taking us away

And when the phlegmatic chameleon
reflects the colour of the tiger
for the glory of the jungle
its is our emotions taking us somewhere.

Lions, hippos.. Nature.. ''life moments''.. But us, human beings, are destroying the environment so heavy, day after day, without a break.. A great question: will be able, our nephews and nieces, to share those emotions..?
