Emotional Detonation Poem by matt valenciano

Emotional Detonation

her anger blows into a sudden nerve racking silence for days to come.

with every bit of rage expressed by her is multiplied tenfold by depression and unnerving thoughts of living without her angelic embrace.

she screamed and i cried but she cut and i died.

the pills dont numb the pain and the entoxication doesnt surpress the brain.

the spot our lips first met at a more peaceful time is possibly the final resting place of my heart.

to her im the one that never gave up but to me she is the one im sure of.

if peace comes beyond the rain and mist fog will it be true? one must wonder but for my hearts cry there can be no other
