Emerald Pathways Poem by Panagiota Romios

Emerald Pathways

Rating: 5.0

My home is surrounded by emerald pathways,
California autumn is that way.

Today is as warm as a cinnamon bun!
Come on down, dawn's just begun.

Flowers still in glory growing,
Hoping some growth in my poetry is still showing.

Saturday and Sunday is family day here.
Grandma not hiding behind glass, there is nothing to fear!

God most assuredly has me in His hands.
I follow His rules and commands, as best I can.

Poetry has been such a blessing for me.
And those who wove me into the music of their lives, part of my day's tapestry!

What a blessed setting and time of life. You have laid the groundwork by planting flowers, planning for retirement, opening your heart and being content. This reminds me of a Greek word used by philosophers: EUDAEMONIA (the flourishing of the human spirit) .
