I never thought this day would come
When my feelings for you starts to fade
Time spent away from you is cherished
Without you I can laugh and smile again

Sour now is sweet, and sweet’s now sour
I’ve got joy in my heart and peace in my soul
It’s the dawn of a new day, a new start
My tears have dried up, and now I’m singing

You would think that I’ll be sad, but I’m happy
Instead of sorrow, I’m healed so I’m glad
The need for you is now over, finished
Now it’s time to move on, start fresh

Turn around now and don’t look back
Your time with me is gone, with no return
Learn from the mistakes made, have no regrets
Our journey of love has now reached it’s end
