Emancipation Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Emancipation

Clinging to memories,
A perfect vision of the paradise I see each time I look in to your eyes,
A distance, not far from falling,
Soaring, suspended in everlasting comfort,
Another moment, another pebble that ripples across the pond of your presence, spent in everlasting solace,
As desire bridges the trails of your eyes,
Traces of a glimpse not yet forgotten,
As It stares, longing,
for a simple caress,
A simple slide of hands searching for a deeper meaning,
No longer empty,
As the fulfillment of the next moment brinks eternity in the comfort of your hand,
A calm hush that screams sliently with the brush of your cheek,
As every second without you languishes into an abyss of nothingness,
A light flicker of an candle whom's wick burned out,
Everlasting silence until the sun blesses me with your presence,
As we become the clouds, weightless, free,
Simply soaring,
As emancipation begins with you
