Elliott - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Elliott - Lincoln Park Zoo

Dear Elliott, rest in peace, do.
You lived your rabbit life so well
At the Farm in Lincoln Park Zoo,
Where you were great to show and tell
How rabbits on a farm can be
The ways and means from which to give
Children responsibility
On how to help animals live.
Humans would bring you from your hutch,
And children would come to say, 'Hi, '
And have the chance to be in touch
With one so cute, sweet lop eared guy.

We're glad you made the Farm a stop
On your journey of bunny hop.
