Eligibility Poem by Felix Emeka George

Eligibility

Just like animals that is what they look like
They, consumed by their basic desire
As the pious expectation of heaven gate
Exit from stream of realization
And spread like wide fire in harmattan
From here, there and everywhere
They sprung like mushroom than cancer

They were really throngs of silent forms
In the people speculating inert
Because they were not sure
Of the gift oratorical glibness.
There is silent, their silence
Lost in the muddle longing,
That silence of jaw-breaking words

If you wished to see these men,
Who are chameleons, the candour king
A veritable wardrobe of rainbow
A magic wand, to basic viable of
Having enough food in our tables
For vicious circle of beautiful nonsense
Where we are starve, yet to served
We are plundered of the remnant wealth
They, the profligate of life style
Throwing into the well, and
Versed in the rhetoric
If human being,
With imperfect wisdom, better off with
The men of human errors
Like a soldier, that follows orders
They are good in defense and killing
All because
They do not have brain
When they know not their right
