Electric Hope Poem by Howard Kern

Electric Hope

Rating: 5.0

I set in wait,
Electronic blips of hope,
The ones of excitement,
As my heart quicken...
My pulse races,
I salivate at the thought,
A new message...

Is she going to tear my eye?

I rather,
Much rather,
Hear of a meet...
Time that helps endure the day,
To experience the parts of days,
I most feel alive...
